Save on Paper and Ink When Printing – Go Green

We all want to be as “green” as we can these days… It’s just the right thing to do and why not save some money while you do your part for the environment!
I find myself constantly printing things off like invoices, maps, addresses, and confirmation emails, maybe many of you also find yourself printing stuff like this too?
Do you also find that much of the time you think you’re only going to get one page but when all is said and done, out pops another couple pages of non-relevant info or even sometimes one line of print that renders that entire page useless for reuse.
Here’s what I do to get around this problem and save on paper and ink as well as overall printer usage and general waiting around.

Tip of the Week – Installing Applications on a Mac

Many PC to Mac Switchers struggle at first with the concept of installing Applications on their Mac. Maybe because they expect it be more complicated then it actually is, Kinda like what happens when installing an Application on a PC – lots of stuff popping up on the screen asking to confirm this and enter that, a bunch of file names flashing before their eyes and a restart or two.

Tip of the Week – Where did the Word Processor Go?

So you just got your new Mac with all of its great bundled programs like iLife, mail, Address Book, iCal, Safari, iSync and a bunch more but hold on a sec… Where did the Word Processor go? Yes you may find a trial version of Microsoft Office for Mac and/or Apple’s iWork but they don’t last forever, 30 days usually! Oh here’s an included word processor – “Text Edit”, let’s just say text edit is a very basic text editing program like the name says.
